Built on Real Experience, Not Theory
We started aragomaraagora in 2018 after noticing too many business owners were drowning in financial jargon instead of getting practical guidance. Seven years later, we're still here — helping people understand their money without the confusing terminology.

How We Got Started
The whole thing began when a mate of mine couldn't get straight answers about his business cash flow. Everyone kept throwing around terms like "liquidity ratios" and "EBITDA margins" when all he wanted to know was whether he could afford to hire someone.
That conversation stuck with me. I'd spent years in corporate finance, watching small operators struggle with unnecessarily complicated advice. So we built aragomaraagora around a simple idea — translate financial concepts into plain language that actual business owners can use.
We're not trying to turn everyone into accountants. Most people just want to know if their numbers look healthy and what they should focus on next. That's what we help with.
What We Actually Do
Our programs focus on practical financial skills you can apply right away. No theoretical fluff — just the stuff that matters when you're running a business in the real world.
Cash Flow Fundamentals
Understanding where money comes from and where it goes. Sounds basic, but you'd be surprised how many established businesses can't tell you this accurately. We break it down using your actual numbers.
Strategic Planning
Looking ahead without making wild guesses. We teach forecasting methods that work for small teams — not the massive spreadsheet models designed for corporations with dedicated finance departments.
Financial Statements
Reading your P&L and balance sheet like a map instead of a mystery novel. Once you know what you're looking at, these documents actually become useful decision-making tools.

Vernon Ostrowski
Lead Financial Educator
I spent twelve years working in corporate finance before realizing most of what I did all day had zero relevance to the businesses my friends were running. The gap between textbook finance and practical business management was massive.
These days I focus on teaching the fundamentals that actually move the needle. Things like understanding your break-even point, spotting cash flow problems before they become emergencies, and making sense of financial reports without needing a CPA sitting next to you.
The best part of this job is watching someone's face change when they finally understand their numbers. That moment when it clicks — that's why we do this.
Our Track Record
We've been refining our approach since 2018. Here's how the program has developed based on what participants actually needed, not what we thought they should learn.
Finding What Works
Early sessions were too technical. We adjusted after realizing people needed context before formulas. Started using real business scenarios from participants instead of generic examples.
Building the Framework
Developed our core curriculum based on the questions that kept coming up. Added more hands-on exercises and fewer lectures. Participants started bringing their own financial statements to work through.
Expanding Reach
Launched our remote learning options after regional businesses asked for access. Kept the interactive elements that made in-person sessions work while adapting to online formats.
Current Focus
Running quarterly intensive programs starting September 2025. Added peer learning components after seeing how much participants learned from each other's real business situations.
Ready to Understand Your Numbers?
Our next program starts in autumn 2025. We keep groups small deliberately — usually around 12-15 participants — so everyone gets individual attention on their specific financial questions.
